Founded in 1496, Santo Domingo was the first city of the new world. It preserved from this time an exceptional patrimonial heritage that can be seen in every corner of the Colonial Zone. This is undoubtedly the most fascinating visit of the country.
We will start by visiting the Cuevas de los 3 Ojos, then head for the Faro of Colon and the Presidential Palace for a quick photo stop.
We will then go to the famous Colonial Zone where we will discover :
We will have lunch in a small restaurant in the Colonial Zone. Then you will have one hour of free time to enjoy the pedestrian street El Conde, famous for its many shops, it will give you the opportunity to buy some souvenirs of discover the many hidden streets. We will also visit a craftsman who cuts amber and Larimar, the 2 semi-precious stones of the country.
One of the highlights of this excursion is that it takes place in very small group (maximum 12 people) and that it can be adapted to the request of the participants.
