Description
From the charming village of Bayahibe, we will set course to the outback country aboard our Safari truck. Arriving at our authentic ranch of El Gato your 4 wheeler or buggy awaits! At the wheel of your little speedster we are riding towards the jungle to meet with a habitant on a Banana and Plantano field. There he will serve us some specialities of his garden and will have the chance to get wet in the famous river of Chavon. Then on the go to cross the sugar cane fields in which you will learn all about this important industry. Always at the wheel of your machines, direction of the Batey, a cane cutter’s village. At this village the children and habitants will run in the streets to greet us and exchange!! Maybe they will let us visit their little school, if you have things you would want to give...this is the place. Leaving the Batey let’s take a new direction, Santa Cruz de El Gato, a Dominican village that still live without electricity. We then arrive at the River of Chavon where a Dominican barge awaits us for a visit on the river. This river offers unseen wilderness that is breath-taking. Here we will have lunch (the best you’ll have during your vacation) you will learn to dance the Bachata and get a chance to show us your Tarzan or Jane talents from a rope going into the River!!!
